A single strand all salt-water Japanese Akoya Keshi pearl necklace features our signature clasp closure and WA logo tag in recycled sterling silver.
The Pukha necklace pays tribute to the infamous Pukka shell necklaces from the 90s. This necklace boasts landfill bound, deadstock pearls instead of the traditional Pukka shell, presenting Washed Ashore’s favorite treasures of the sea.
The name “Pukha” was picked for this piece to signify the close ties pearls have to royalty all throughout history.

While all of our materials are natural and recycled they can be damaged by synthetic chemicals such as those found in hair spray or perfume. Pearls are highly sensitive to heat, acids, and humidity. It is best to store your jewelry in a dry clean place.
Pearls and abalone are sensitive natural components. They can be affected by cosmetic products that usually contain alcohol, such as: perfume, hair spray, make-up, lotions, etc. They are also soft, and although they aren’t easily scratched or chipped, it’s best to keep them in a separate pouch or box from the rest of your jewelry. Best to clean using a soft cloth & water. Saltwater pearls can be cleaned in the ocean and their luster benefits from being in saltwater.
